This private experience invites guests into an authentic Dalmatian home, where the lifestyle and traditions of the past are brought to life through a personal and immersive presentation.

Step into a centuries-old family estate on Hvar Island, where history, tradition, and culinary passion  converge. Guided personally by a member of the family estate, you’ll craft Tingul and handmade  gnocchi using garden-fresh herbs and seasonal ingredients. Each dish tells the story of Hvar, paired with  homemade bread, olive oil tasting, and local island sweets.  This is not a standard cooking class—it’s an intimate cultural immersion, shared only with a select few,  preserving centuries of family culinary heritage.  Your host—a devoted member of the estate—will personally guide you through an authentic culinary  and cultural journey. Together, you will prepare dishes inspired by Hvar’s maritime and agricultural  heritage, experiencing the island’s flavors, traditions, and stories in a private, intimate setting.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a traditional drink before beginning a guided tour through the house and its collection. Throughout the experience, they will taste two local olive oils, learning about their origin, production, and distinctive flavors.

The highlight of the experience is a hands-on cooking class focused on preparing traditional gnocchi and tingul. Guests actively participate in the process, gaining insight into authentic Dalmatian cooking techniques and ingredients.

Following the cooking class, a private lunch is served in a relaxed and intimate setting. The meal begins with a selection of local cheeses and homemade savory delicacies, followed by freshly prepared gnocchi with tingul as the main course. The dishes are complemented by seasonal salads enriched with local herbs and traditional seasonings.

To conclude, guests enjoy a selection of traditional desserts such as paprenjak, cvit, or hrustule, accompanied by homemade syrups and beverages. The experience ends with a digestif, completing the culinary journey.

Guests also have the opportunity to purchase authentic handmade souvenirs, including lavender products and artistic prints, offering a meaningful connection to the local culture.
